Workshop for women business owners to help them shift their money attitudes
and grow more profitable businesses

White Plains, October 30, 2008 - The Women’s Enterprise Development Center will offer a workshop, “Women & Money,” on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at 707 Westchester Avenue, White Plains in the lobby conference room. The program will be led by Shalyn Courtenay, Associate at The Cambium Group. The Cambium Group is the leading advocate for transforming the conversation of economic scarcity to one of abundance.

Shalyn Courtenay believes that you must first understand why you act as you do before you can change your behavior. In this informative and interactive two-hour session, participants will explore the barriers that prevent them from reaching their financial potential and learn how they can change their thoughts to change their current reality. Participants will leave with an expanded consciousness about themselves and an action plan to implement what they learned in order to achieve financial success and abundance.

Workshop leader, Shalyn Courtenay, began her work in the financial services industry in 2003 after a successful career in classical music. Her creative perspective coupled with her talent for building relationships empowers her dialogue with the world. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters degree from Northwestern University.
